Michael Casas

Conductor

Michael Casas is currently the band director in Sabinal Texas.  He has been a music educator for nearly 20 years in South Texas and has been a member of the Heart of Texas Concert Band as a trombone player since it’s inception.  He has performed a solo and conducted the group several times.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas in music education.  He currently resides in Sabinal with his wife Andrea and sons Jack (who performs with the HTxCB on clarinet) and Leo.
