Chase Failing

Guest Conductor

Chase Failing is the Assistant Band Director at Harlandale High School in Harlandale ISD. Prior to his assignment at HHS, Chase received his Bachelor degree in Music Studies from UTSA in 2015.

Wayne Hames

Arranger

Wayne Haymes was born and raised on a farm in Southwest Missouri. He attended elementary school a one-room schoolhouse, then graduated from Marshfield High School, where he was inspired to study music by band director Dee Lewis. He received a Bachelors of Science Education in instrumental music from Southwest Missouri State University

Kate Kostellic

Trumpet Soloist

Wayne Haymes was born and raised on a farm in Southwest Missouri. Thomas Esperiqueta

Guest Conductor

Thomas Esperiqueta is a San Antonio native. He graduated from Central Catholic High School and continued his music studies at Boston College. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music then came back to San Antonio to get a Teachers Certification at the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Joel Lopez

Horn Soloist

Joel Lopez began his French horn training in the tradition-rich band program of Brownsville High School in Brownsville, Texas. Upon graduation from high school he attended Del Mar Junior College before finishing his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education at Lamar University. He received his Master’s degree from Texas State University with a performance concentration.

Thomas Esperiqueta

Guest Conductor

Thomas Esperiqueta is a San Antonio native. He graduated from Central Catholic High School and continued his music studies at Boston College. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music then came back to San Antonio to get a Teachers Certification at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
